Want to do a statistical mechanics physics experiment?
Find out a connection between the number of balls and the average time for spontaneous separation on your system.
How to do that? Start the system with keys 1-9. Wait until the system auto completes. Note the time for different start numbers.
Make an assumption of the connection time/number of balls and compare with your results.
Hints: the more balls the longer time necessary. For fastest test run: Press key 1 (and wait).
For higher numbers of balls a lot of time will be needed. Be patient.
A Libre Office Calc sheet may be helpful for organizing your results.
